Media Go is a media suite developed by Sony Creative Software.

Media Go is a freeware media suite for Windows. It places an emphasis on the Sony ecosystem and features built-in support for Sony mobile phones, tablets, laptops, Walkman devices and PlayStation Portable. Think of it as Sony’s answer to Apple’s iTunes.

The suite lets you organize your media collection, which can include images, music files, podcasts and videos ranging from home movies to blockbusters and Oscar award winners. The Sony storefront is integrated as well, and lets you purchase music, TV shows and films as well as games and other items for your PSP. The organization options are quite robust, and the program makes it easy to transfer various media files between your devices.

You can transfer media to non-Sony devices. The integrated support is not as good. Advanced and intermediate users should have little problem getting it to work. But the novice user who may not be tech-savvy may find it not nearly as convenient as when working with Sony devices.

Media Go is EOL or end-of-life software as of January 2018. What that means is that Sony will no longer update the software or provide support. This suite was originally developed when Windows XP was active, and while it was updated to Vista and 7, that support was minimal. Windows 10 is not supported, and you may find that the UI and overall design feels quite dated relative to current standards.
